Video of the AMP’a conversion of an the Saturn Sky.

AMP (Advanced Mechanical Products) has posted a Youtube video of their electric conversation of the Saturn Sky. According to the company this is the 4th test drive of the prototype. They are taking orders now and claim a 0 to 60 time of 5.7 seconds, 90 MPH top speed and a range of 150 miles. It is powered by lithium phosphate batteries sending current to twin brushless DC motors, one for each back wheel. They are taking pre-orders for the first 300 vehicles. A $10,000 down payment goes towards the $25,000 conversion price tag which doesn't include the car. At least it is cheaper than the Telsa.
